I know the newsletters have been a little sporadic lately. I have been going thru some changes and sometime with changes you get off schedule. Have you made a change and then had a moment of clarity when you relize that everything seemed to be falling into place? It could be a change as simple as taking a new route to work that seems to take less time: or visiting a different Starbucks where you happen to pick up a new client unexpectedly. It could be a big change such as a divorce or change in career. No matter what the change is, you know the change is right if a sense of peace comes over you. When you are confronted with change, it's okay to stay in a waiting place, but only for a moment or two. For it's only when you truly make a decision that your'e set free--free to be all God intended you to be.
Welcome or not we will have several of these "change moments" throughout our lives. I certainly had one with after a year of "trying" to decide whether or not to get a divorce; I finally made a decision to proceed. After I had made that very difficult decision, I felt relaxed and at peace. I knew then that it was the right move for me. Talk about things falling into place; even my business skyrocketed. While I was in that waiting place of indecision, though, you may remember that my writings were quite sparse.
That brings me to my current lack of writing. I am again facing huge changes both personally and professionally; and while I was contemplating; waiting and thinking, I was a bit distracted. But now I have made a decision! It's time for another move. I want to change the energy around me, have you felt that way too? Not only did I decide to move, I also decided that it should happen by the end of the month. So, I've been busy looking for a new place and packing to move. And I feel good about it!
Making that decision led to some breakthroughs with Image Empowering, too. We decided to expand our services to offer image coaching - a service that doesn't just "show" women how to dress but really works with them on developping their personal style: something that fits their personality, comfort level and objectives. This new service is called "THE STYLE WITHIN". It's my hope that this new service will be valuable AND fun for all who participate. I truly believe that my ability to make this addition to my business is directly tied to freeing my mind after making that decision to move. Decision does lead to clarity!
So are there any unmade decisions weighing heavily on you? What's stopping you from making them? If you knew that a happier you, more success, better health, and a more joy-filled life was on the other side of the decision, would you make it? On the other side of every decision is something good. even if it's just the realization that you needed to have choosen option B. You'll never know, though, if you never take the step to decide.
And, if you need a friend to talk to or just want to share, I'm always here.
Blessings
Wishing you peace, love, and joy in your life :)

Fall into Essentials
Here is a short list of absolute "Must Haves" for every woman this Fall:
Wishing you peace, love and joy in your life :)
- Brights are back! Wearing bright orange, purple or hot pink can bring such happiness to any basic black ensemble. You can go as bold as an orange or hot pink dress paired with a black jacket; or something as simple as adding bright colored accessories.
- We are Mad for Plaid. There's a plaid for every personality - from bold and bright to sophisticated and simple.
- Layering. Wear fitted pieces under looser ones. You can even mix patterns for a striking and fresh look. Strips and plaids CAN go together - - just break them up with a solid in between.
- Belts. Belts are a great way to add pizzazz to a simple dress or shirt. Different belts can give an outfit a whole new look.
- A tailor. A great tailor is your next BFF! No 2 women have the exact same shape To have your clothes fit you just right, you should have a tailor on speed dial. (If you need one in the Vegas area, just let me know. I have some really good ones.)
- Confidence! It's not just about what you wear, but how what you wear makes you feel. It's about showcasing the very best of you for all the world to see!
Wishing you peace, love and joy in your life :)

2. Wrap Dress - Tie the wrap around the smallest part of your waist to create that beautiful hourglass silhouette.
3. Statement Accessories - Accessories are the perfect way to draw attention away from any problem area. Statement accessories are bold, bright and contrasting to your outfit.
4. Mid-Rise, Mid-Width Trousers - These trousers will elongate the leg always making you appear taller and thinner.
5. Matte Fabrics - Structured, non-shiny fabrics that lay flat on the body have a smoothing effect . . . and will hide baby bearing weight. Remember the bottom line is that women are beautiful - in all shapes and sizes.
So play up the positive! It will distract from the negative.

The easiest way a woman can change her look is with a fabulous new hair cut. But how do you know what cut is best for you? Here are some helpful hints to help you out. The first step to finding the best cut to flatter your face is to determine your face shape. There are 5 face shapes: Square, Long, Heart, Round and Oval:
- Square faces form a straight line from the cheek to the jaw (like Demi Moore). Having shoulder length hair or longer is best to smooth out your strong features. Add some bounce with light curls or waves. One length styles usually work best.
- Long faces, like Jennifer Love Hewitt, are narrow and are 1 1/2 times longer than they are wide. Give it some volume girl friend! Waves and texture will balance out the face. Layers around the face will frame those “baby blues” perfectly and create the illusion of a shorter face.
- Ladies with Heart shape faces, like the well-liked Reese Witherspoon, will be widest at the forehead and have a narrow or pointy chin. Get out those sheers and chop it up! Layers add weight to a narrow jaw. Add bangs in any style to soften the face.
- Rounding the bend, like Kirsten Dunst? Your face will be equal in length as it is wide. Round faces are best flattered when the volume is turned up. Adding height at the crown will create the illusion of a longer face. (If you need help getting volume, just ask one of us Texas girls. We are pros and would be glad to help.)
- And if you’re blessed with what is considered to be the “ideal” Oval face shape, like Cindy Crawford, pretty much anything goes. So mix up the music and play a different tune whenever the mood strikes. Try new things, and often. Take advantage of the versatility of your face shape.
No matter what your face shape is, your hairstyle should enhance its unique characteristics. It’s not always easy, though, for us to be the best judge of either our face shape or the hairstyles that look best on us. That’s where a good hair stylist comes in. A good hair stylist will be able to identify your face shape A-N-D will always let you know whether or not the hairstyle of your dreams is actually the right one for your face shape
. . . . And, if you are in need of a new hair stylist, be sure to check out this week’s “Spotlight”.
Wishing you peace, love and joy in your life

Love Yourself Enough to Invest in Yourself
Today I want to talk about loving yourself. As women, we often don’t love ourselves enough; mostly because we don’t think we are worthy of it. We believe we have to take care of everything and everyone else before we take care of ourselves. Let me ask you this...”If you took care of yourself first, would you have more?” Would you have more to give? Would you be more available for your family? Astonishingly, 64% of women don’t feel that they are beautiful. Is this you? If so, let me ask you a few more questions. If you felt more beautiful when you looked into the mirror, would your confidence be different? If your confidence was different, would you have a different outlook? Would you be teaching your children something different? Would people be more attracted to you? And, if you’re one of the over 400 women a day starting a new business, would you be more successful if you had more confidence? If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, then it’s time to love yourself a little – invest in a personal and private confidence boosting image update session. Invest in having more confidence in you. You are your #1 marketing tool. Studies show that the average business person invests about $1400 a year on marketing themselves - - and this is how much they spend just on clothes. You’ve heard the saying “people buy YOU, not your product” – well it’s absolutely true! If you are your #1 marketing tool, how much are you investing on marketing Y-O-U? Right now, more than ever, if you want that business over your competition then you have to look like you already have it!
